The lamp looks like jade, although I doubt it is for the price we paid. We had to get the lampshade separately, and we picked one in a hurry at Lamps Plus so we wouldn't have bare bulbs staring our families in the face at Christmas. Ideally, I'd like to find a more "boudoir" style shade for it.
I don't have the skills to photograph the mirror without everything reflecting in it, but the most stunning aspect of it is the carving on the supports. We have it on Rob's dresser right now. Someday I'll have a dresser to put it on...
