Let There Be (Porch) Light!

We were supposed to be looking at bathroom fixtures, but that's not very exciting, so we went for an ice cream and wandered into Early California Antiques.

We're driving our contractor nuts. First we wanted a ceiling light for the porch, but then we decided a wall mounted one would be better. There was a miscommunication and the guys cut a hole in the ceiling and ran electricity to it. They were going to fix it, but now we found this, so it all worked out.

I can't wait to see it on the porch -- it looks kind of silly hanging off a curtain rod in our living room!
