Now that the perimeter of the foundation is poured, the next step is to remove all the posts that make up the "post and pier" foundation.The plans call for all of them to be replaced with just two posts and a system of gigantic beams. It's nerve-wracking to think about, but we have to trust that the engineer knew what he was doing.
