Reach for the Brass Ring

The window seat has been stained and the final hardware installed.  Just need to come up with some sort of cushion so I can curl up on it with a book!

Taking It All Off

These drawers are from a cabinet in the dining room.

The drawers themselves were not that interesting, but the pulls caught Rob's eyes.  He saw four little square indentations that indicated these were not some cheap thing from a contemporary hardware store.

Under all that white paint, beautiful brass!  Woo-hoo!

Labels

Rob bought brass labels for our plants.  You use a ballpoint pen to "engrave" the name of the plant onto the plate and then stick it into the ground.

Rob won't let me write on them because my writing is so bad no one could read them.  I maintain that the quality of the engraving is so bad, my handwriting really couldn't make things much worse.

That says "margarita bop" by the way.
